I like your paint jobs. I've never understood why Modipihus went with the 'Generations' style uniforms for the TNG. I do think the Data sculpt is inspired by Data wielding a phaser rifle in 'First Contact'
I would have much preferred Data to have a Tricorder and like you ask, why hasn't Yar got a phaser!!! I'm hoping the Heroclix TNG figures due in the summer give us more traditional sculpts. |

Anbo-jutsu, Mithmee. Norrins: Looks like as good a reason as any. I'm just glad they didn't sculpt Picard in that vest. My big problems with the TNG crew design is that almost everyone is carrying odd equipment or is in a dumb pose. If I could change it, I would have: Picard/Troi: no equipment. Riker is ok as is. Worf/Yar and possibly Data: phaser pistol. Crusher/LaForge: no change to equipment, but definitely tighten up Geordi's pose. Maybe give Data a PADD or tricorder in addition to/instead of a phaser. |
