Put some pics of a Mordheim campaign that we did on Saturday at my place. It was a 12 hour marathon session, getting 6 games in throughout the day! link I have been doing these for years, and I'm hosting a big 2-day campaign this summer. I was wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts on whether it would be worthwhile to try to establish an annual Mordheim Campaign/Tournament that's open to the "public" and host it somewhere like a Church/VFW/Convention Hall etc (i.e. not at my house)? I know there are people on here who still have an interest in Mordheim even though it's a "dead" game as far as the publisher is concerned. Would there be interest in that? I'm in the New York City area but NYC is too expensive to get space; it would likely be on Long Island. Not sure how many folks on this board are a) from the US as opposed to Europe/UK, and b) live close enough to attend and would have interest. I posted on LAF as well but if anyone has any ideas on where else I might want to ask around, please let me know. I'm not on any social media so forums like this are the extent of my online presence! Thanks |

Did the same thing this past Saturday. Only played for five hours or so but managed to get in three games. We had 8 players and 4 different tables set up. One was a graveyard with lots of broken walls, gnarly trees and a few buildings. The second was a smugglers warren full of twists and turns and winding corridors. The third was a docks of Mordheim. I used a bunch of lemax seaside Christmas scenery to uses as the docks with crates, barrels and a few burned out buildings to break up line of sight. The last was your standard city table full of ruined buildings. Everyone had a blast and I'll be doing running it again in a few months. I like your idea for an annual Mordheim day. Id check in with your local hobby shops and gauge interest that way. Maybe start a facebook page showing photos from your previous campaigns to get people fired up. |

I've run several one day Mordheim campaigns using a quick play scenario system I came up with. Never had a problem filling the table playing Mordheim. |

Awesome warbands and terrain. Who made the terrain pieces in pic (the tan-colored ruin and the chapel with the pale blue roof)? Thanks! |
