"Flying in attack formation, the group of Su-24 attack aircraft turned away just before Norwegian airspace.

The dramatic simulated attack happend on February 14th, 2018, Director of Norway's Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Morten Haga Lunde, told the audience in his annual speech for the Oslo Military Society on Monday.

Haga Lunde had earlier in the day presented Focus 2019 (in Norwegian), the intelligence service's report on threats and security analyses…."

Makes one wonder with all these mock attacks, what happens when someone decides it may be a real one, and starts downing bombers preemptively, before they can carry out their mission(s)?

The best thing to do is not react to them. They expect you to react, which helps them train further.

Sounds good, until they fly over your territory unannounced (or in the case of various Northern European nations who they've threatened to nuke – preannounced), and the bomb bay doors open.

Zhortly after, our air zee rescue aircraft demonstrated how vee vood rescue de survivorse of sooch an attuck. Dey haf been repaytreeated.

Vee teenk dis hahs been an objekt lesson for all involved.
