Hahaha, Unknown soldier, a corporal, a SMG, plus the whole description at the NS page hints at the beloved Corporal Antero Rokka from Väinö Linna's amazing Unknown Soldier novel. Thrice filmed too (1955, 1985 and 2017) Here Rokka is ambushing a circling Soviet platoon in all three of them:

Hahaha, Unknown soldier, a corporal, a SMG, plus the whole description at the NS page hints at the beloved Corporal Antero Rokka from Väinö Linna's amazing Unknown Soldier novel. Notice the choice of the straight magazine, though – in one of the movies he was using a drum magazine. |
