I have a lot of the Battlefield Miniatures STG range painted. I would like to add some more sculpts. Any suggestions for battle-weary urban fighting poses for October-November 1942? Thank you!

Please can you post some pictures? Would love to see what these out-of-production figures look like.

Though probably not as tattered-looking, the SHQ winter Russians would probably be a good fit: link

Just remembered Shell Hole Scenics, who does penal troops, NKVD types, and chaps throwing Molotovs: link

Sadly, 26 of Shell Hole Scenics 27 Russian packs have no pictures.

Unfortunate I know, although I personally have no problem buying sight unseen. But then I have been a hobbyist long enough to have a general idea of what to expect from each brand.

The owner is pretty responsive on Facebook (indeed he had no problem offering people unsolicited samples), so it may be worth requesting pictures there.

AB miniatures and fantassin. SHQ are too small for battlefield. Shellhole scenics figs are poorer quality.

Xan Miniatures has some excellent russian infantry references that you can used for Stalingrad Front
