Hi all,
Here are some pictures of the painted figures of Oniria Miniatures red Lancers (set II). I also add a picture with a quick setting using the two sets released so far.
Hope you like them.

I really like the pie-eyed grey horse. Well done.

Trumpeter is superb, esp his trumpet cords and aigulettes. Faces on all have great expressions and, above all these are well proportioned and look like human beings. I love the subtle white in the eyes of the bay horse. Horse's eyes show almost no white unless a few feet away from a line of bayonets!

Minor quibbles. The "teeth" on the sheepskin edge seem white for the lancers, yellow I think. The lancers keep their aigulettes (which are superbly modelled) suggesting parade rig, but, if so, why no fringed epaulette on the right shoulder?

Button counting I know for what are great figures, beautifully painted. The officer's moulding/casting, drawing his sword, is just inspired.

What about those reins? Incredible……. I am used to chunks of metal, solid blocks below the horse's chin!

Cheers Guys.
Glad you like them. :)

deadhead@ Please keep in mind that the reins are made Tamiya yellow tape. The horse have integral bits modelled, but no reins. A bit of an extra work , but I think they look much better this way instead of the typical chunk of metal you mentioned.

They are stunning. How rarely do we see riders actually holding the reins, which of course finish behind the horse's neck, leaving a gap?
