My long term house guests have moved out, and I picked up a brush for the first time in, jeez, probably a year. Over the weekend I painted 34 15mm figures for a near future what-if game I am working on. Ordinarily, I don't like to paint, but it felt good to get something done.

Good for you. My biggest reason for not painting enough is often social needs (spouse!) followed by binge tv. Now I have a tv in the painting room and the spouse has her own art projects I think I will get a lot more painting done.

Was away for over 10 years. I was interrupted by life. Now in semi-retirement, I was tired yesterday and I'm tired today, so I am re-tired. I have a little more time for painting but alas now I don't have the energy.

Youth with it's energy and vitality is wasted on the young.

I've done another 12 figures this week. I'm on a roll. I've got 6 more figs on a painting stick that I'll finish tomorrow, which will give me 52 figures painted for the week. I'm quite pleased with myself.
