These guys blew me away, cultists on dirt bikes and a quad? How cool is that?

And $55 USD seems like a pretty good price for 5 mounted models. Heck two bikers for Infinity are $43. USD These aren't quite sculpted as well as Infinity figs but still, pretty great price.

Then there is this cool drill-thing:

This is going to be great for almost any 28mm sci-fi game. A huge drill could be used for 40K and Necromunda nevermind a host of non-GW games. I'm sure mine will find its way into games of the above mentioned Infinity.

And at $60 USD it doesn't seem like a bad deal for the size of the piece.

Here you can see all the new stuff.

There are a few new characters. I like the new Magus but probably don't need a second Magus in my army. I definitely need the planner guy and the coms guy.

I see that the Collector's edition of the codex is already sold out.

Colour me confused.

You say the collector's edition codex is sold out.

The site says it is limited edition.

Yet you can still, apparently, order it on their site for shipping on the 9th.

That is not adding up.

Any idea what the print run was, er is, er whatever.

I believe there was a collectors edition, limited edition, and regular edition!

Dang! Just yesterday I was rummaging through old Space Hulk boxes and figuring I had enough bugs to put together a Tyranid army. May have to consider morphability for a Cultist army later too…

I like the GC's 80's post-apoc vibe, but I'm saving up for the new plastic SoB's due out later this year. I got a feeling I'm going to spend a lot of dough for a new army.

Those dirtbikers look like they might have quite some conversion potential by simply swapping upper bodies and heads.

Yeah, bikers look really nice and full of potential – I'd suggest that they are the most potentially versatile figures I've seen in a while from GW. I could easily see those winding up in post-apoc collections! Also like the command group – the holographic map table is a really nice touch. Shame that the mini-stealers can't be pinched for 15mm use!

Hmm, I've got some Squats that could ride with that gang too.

Pictors Studio05 Feb 2019 1:44 p.m. PST

And there is another squat being released for necromunda.

Soaring Soren05 Feb 2019 4:51 p.m. PST

I pre-ordered the biker set, partly on the rule of cool, and also because they should finish off my Grim Dark gsc force

The H Man05 Feb 2019 5:09 p.m. PST

I have figured it out.

It is sold out on the GW UK site. Change the country and you can still find it available. It is not sold out everywhere.

Please be more specific next time, as not to confuse people. Though I'm sure it was not intended.

Happy ordering!

The H Man05 Feb 2019 5:22 p.m. PST

The US site has this:

"Strictly limited to 800 copies"

Still available there.

I assume that is the number the US GW site has available?

Canada has it available, again listing 800 copies.

Sold out in Germany (I think it's the flag)

Sold out in Denmark.

And Sweden.

I actually wonder if some of these European countries are not using the same site. The set up and products appear (at a glance) exactly the same. Other countries differ a bit.

I haven't been tempted to get back into 40K, but if I ever did decide to do so, I'd be strongly inclined to dive into these Cultists! Nice models.
