Just curious if anyone has ever gamed this one? It was a four-day running battle between the Walla Walla Indians and the Oregon Mounted Volunteers. It sounds like quite the slogging match, though the casualties were mostly on the Indian side. I had two relatives with the Oregon soldiers. One kept a journal, but no details about the fighting. |

Never played it. My Indians are Sioux and Northern Cheyenne. I believe there are substantial differences in dress from the Walla Walla. The earliest soldiers I have are in 1860s uniforms. I think they were wearing that earlier headgear at that time. Very interesting to have two ancestors involved. Tom |
