I am modelling a British Field Hospital for a rather large Waterloo game being played this summer. I would like advice on suitable figures (28mm) for a surgeon or other medics, orderlies, casualties and even some corpses. Any suggestions? |

I'm guessing that plastic figures can give you some nice piles of amputated limbs. |

Hinds Figs have the Hinchliffe range, which includes French Napoleonic and ACW surgical teams, in the equipment range, EG51 and EG59. Not exactly what you're looking for but they might be near enough. |

I have the French hospital set from Hinds. He is a very agreeable, communicative and efficient dealer. I have used his sets for my AWI RFF critical losses marker. Most of the set could be used as is. The stretcher party and some of the wounded would need a shako swap or carve off the French headgear to make it more British. Or maybe keep one Frenchman as a POW being treated or pressed into stretcher duty. They are a thinner figure but not spo much if on their own stand. H |

Westphalia has some British surgeons, casualties and an ambulance wagon. I have them (not painted yet) and they are very nicely sculpted. link |
