Er, yes.

Potentially but very, very, old stuff now. My copy of "The Waterloo Secret" already shows a very faded spine from UV effect.

It is a very good analysis of the role of the 52nd (and later the largely forgotten 71st) in the final defence (US defense) of the ridge and their role in the counterattack against the Guard. Actually it is superb and a total must for that

Mind you. This when the Battle was largely already won anyway by British Line, Netherlands infantry (who we are told were either drunk or cowardly), a bunch of infantry in black or green who could not even speak English (but yet stood against the most famous army in Europe). Then a bunch of chaps (in "Prussian Black", coming from the East of the field must have played some part.

It is then alas spoiled by being almost/totally insane in its subsequent analysis of the conspiracy to conceal the role of Adam's Brigade in the final victory.

Grassy knolls and NASA and Apollo are not a patch on what is suggested here. (I do exaggerate slightly but I have read so much about those two subjects)

"Although the 52nd's feat should rightly rank with such epic military achievements as the defeat of the Persian Army by the Spartans at Marathon…"

Don't worry 52nd, the Athenians have been trying to correct this for centuries!

Oh that is priceless. Sure enough, last paragraph of the link.

Confess I was confusing The Waterloo Secret Revealed with his earlier The Lie at The Heart of Waterloo. But the premise is exactly the same.

Funny how £20.00 GBP has now become £3.00 GBP-50 plus pp. for the newer tome
