Hello All,

I received this kit second hand. It was beat up with several broken parts and some missing pieces. Still the original owner had cut all the resin pieces and magnetized all the turret options, so if your out there I thank you for the head start.

I wanted this tank to be a central model in my Cadian defense force and I am very pleased with the results. I also love green tanks.

Please enjoy the photos.

Is this a GW or Forgeworld product? If not, do you know the manufacturer?

That is one cool tank! Thanks for sharing.

emckinney,

The take is neither. The model was once available from a 3rd party. I recently learned there was a kickstarter back in 2017 to make more. I don't know if they are available now.

I think this one came to me through a Ebay bulk 28mm sci-fi buy

Thanks

I admit I've bought from Chinese and Russian "Forgeworld" to save money in the past, but I'm not proud of it. I've since kicked my Forgeworld habit altogether.

I think the point is this isn't pretending to be Forgeworld. It appears to be German. There are a variety of German, Polish, American, and English companies making sci-fi models in similar styles and scales to GW of all vintages now. This isn't a pirate casting so much as a tank in a similar style; one inspired by GW and some of the sources GW themselves drew upon. (Seeing as all of their own stuff has pretty clear antecedents as well.) I am personally proud to buy from new manufacturers all the time. It keeps the hobby healthy. It increases variety. It gives old farts like me an excuse to buy something new even though we already have all the GW we would ever want. It might even help to keep prices down a little. (Though I've never seen much evidence of that.) In any case, it's a beautiful dang tank. Well worth some pride.

Its sort of like a 'fixed' Leman Russ, by that I mean its like somebody set out to turn the Leman Russ into a better designed tank that looks like it would actually work in the real world.
