Indeed, "quantity has its own quality."

Overall the US. Surprise attacked into the war with only ?5? aircraft carriers, but ended with 119!

Tremendous "heavy lifting" in the far east, turning Japan on the defensive from Midway to the end. Midway was less than a year after Pearl Harbor.

Furnishing thousands of trucks and other wheeled vehicles to the allies – and Russia. Endless supply of ammunition to those relatively few Russian crews who had Shermans.


I will play in any wargame from Romans to Iraq, as long as I can command French Troops. Thus I am unbiased toward the Americans!
