The hobby is a little smaller today. I just learned that Hal Dyson, stalwart GM of Aerodrome, supporter of HMGS, and one of the nicest guys imaginable, passed recently. He was a good friend and a great soul. Well all miss him. I have left a feeble attempt at an obituary here:

Very sad news. I've enjoyed spectating his games as people seemed to be having so much fun. The playing device is brilliant. Long may the planes may the planes fly above his Aerodrome as a memorial. RIP

Sad news indeed. I remember playing one of his games many years ago. He was a true gentleman and an Ironman, too---ran a bunch of games at each con.

A great guy that always had a kind word to offer. He will be missed.

Thanks for the note Walt. Hal will be missed. He always had packed games.

Whenever I walked past his games, everyone was having a good time. He will be missed!
