The new rules have appeared and I've bought them.

I've also told the World on the main Nap Discussion Board I think they look good but I have one question.

That being are there any corresponding play sheets and Please God, are they simpler than those that were produced for v1?

Coming in the next couple of weeks with any luck.
We'll do our best to keep them as simple as we can!

Thanks Brett!

There's a QRS now available for download on the FoGN facebook page.

In a couple of days, there will also be a reasonably comprehensive list of the rule changes in v2 posted as well.

This should be helpful to v1 players transitioning to v2.

There's now a comprehensive list of changes v2 downloadable from the FoGN Facebook page.

Cheers

Does anyone have the link to the FB page as I cannot find it?

I don't want to join a facebook group for something that should come with the rules.

Posting helpful information to a closed a "Fascist Book" page makes no sense in promoting a product. "Skirmish Formation" rules are poorly explained, show no examples and are otherwise seemingly useless. It would be nice if someone could point out where clarification might be hidden.

The tables are all copied into a section at the rear of the rule book. So for those who have an issue with facebook groups, you could simply use those instead.

There will be a webpage in due course where the downloads (QRS, army list builder, tactical advice for beginners, etc) will be made available. However as the webpage is being developed gratis by a wargamer in his spare time, not sure when it will be up and running. (Will make a polite enquiry on progress :)

Regarding the query on the "Skirmish Formation" rules, I'm a little confused. Are you referring to version 2 or version 1, JSchutt?

In v1, I agree that frankly it could be hard to find a rule when searching for it. Feedback on the organisation of the rulebook v2 suggests this aspect is now much improved.

"Skirmish Formation" no longer actually exists in v2, which would explain why you have had trouble finding the rules for it!

One side issue of simplifying some of the rules in v2, has been v1 players initially spending time trying to locate a rule in v2 that is no longer there.
It's the reasons we put out a list of the major changes, so people could see what rules had been omitted in v2.
