WoFun Boardgames, based in Transylvania (I kid you not), is prepping a Kickstarter to be released in February. 18 and 28mm plexiglass flat miniatures. Initial focus seems to be Napoleonic, ACW and Ancients Alexander the Great.

Their store is not active yet but is showing boxes of 72 28mm full color flats for $36 USD, 60 18mm figs for $19. USD They also have collections of nearly 1000 28mm figs for $269 USD or 359 18mm figs for $99. USD

They look like they might make a great intro set for a young 'un.

Color me intrigued.

The old west figures look intriguing.

Another thanks. This would be a great way to game periods without investing a lot of time.

Interesting concept. Great as a starter.

Looks good, a nice intro into a period at the very least thumbs up

These look like they would be a great boon for the folks who are obsessed about frontage and depth of units matching the ground scale.

Hope someone brings them to a HMGS Con.
Need to see them up close.

A cheaper alternative would be the paper figures designed by Peter Dennis and published by Helion and Company!

Flats always disturbed me. They look fine from the front, but bad from the side. And artillery has mixed results (gun from the side, crew from the front).
Their cavalry solution is neat, with the fore-shortened front view, which I like.
Overall, they are nicely painted and well rendered. They could revolutionize (in a retro kind of way) gaming miniatures.
I gotta give them one and a half thumbs up.

I might grab the 18mm Napoleonics for Command and Colors

An intriguing concept…

A very interesting idea! If I didn't already have so many 3D figures I might be more interested in them. For someone just starting down the miniatures road and interested in these eras, it would be more tempting.

Looks like a perfect way for me to get into Napoleonics without painting (which would never happen if I'm being honest). I think I will be backing this.

Based in Romania? Warning bells! Also the pictures on their website are very small.
