Subnautica – from a recommendation here, I got it when it was free. Found out that I'm risk-averse and reapers scare the @#$% out of me (especially when I've got on headphones and the lights are down low). |

I still have a 486 machine running with the occasional game of Panzer General. My gaming time is extremely limited lately, and a solo game here and there helps me decompress from reality Mike |

I got a bunch of Matrix Games as gifts for Christmas. So far I've played: Vietnam '65, simple and interesting COIN game. Recommended. March to Glory, Napoleonic game of 14 classic battles. This game needs some work yet. I blew through almost every battle in one shot. Not Recommended. Pike & Shot:Campaigns, a period I have very little interest in but that was before playing this game. The game itself seems well done. I'm still trying to get the hang of this as I have little knowledge of the period. Recommended. After completing an entire campaign of War in the Pacific Admirals Edition that I got last Christmas, I swore off computer gaming because it took time away from painting. But these games have been easy to learn and not very time consuming. |

Six months? Divinity Original Sin 2. Subnautica (the great surprise of 2018 for me)
Total War Thrones of Britannia (an underrated Total war title with some interesting mechanics, but as always mods are a requirement for it to be playable) "Tom Clancy's" "ghost recon" Wildlands. A very average game, with unnecessary micro transactions. But it's fun spending tens of hours shooting sicarios. Doom(the original one) with brutal doom mod(which makes it one of the best FPS available even today) Hitman 2(really hitman 7) very good game |
Texas Jack | 24 Jan 2019 2:47 a.m. PST |

Steel Panthers windows version from Shrapnel. Combat Mission will get back to the top spot once the patch comes out. Tabletop Simulator is catching my attention too. Trying to figure out how to script hidden units and once that is done virtual miniatures is in my future. |

For about the past 10 years or so the only game on my computer has been Everquest. Play a few hours almost every Saturday and Sunday morning with my friend in Tennessee. BUT I did get an Xbox One for Christmas and I've gotten about 40 hours into World of Tanks….. and 40 less hours painting miniatures….. |

My guitar. I use the machine to tune the beast and record and mix tracks. Of course, this draws out the discussion of what is "your computer". Many of you, I would guess, have a hand held computer that is augmented with a cellular communication modem that doesn't make phone calls, but simulates them digitally over an LTE network. Are we talking that device? |

Some Slitherine stuff: Order of Battle Battle Academy Field of Glory II – about to start another league season. Much better than the TT game IMO – PC does all the calculations! Pike&Shot Campaigns Subnautica – more of an exploration & horror game which I usually stay away from but this one is good. Naval Action Probably gaming more than painting lately but hey retirement is coming…… |
