My wife and I spent our honeymoon in the Crescent Hotel. The ghost tour was fun and the hotel is really cool. One of the secretaries were I work took some photos when she visited the Myrtles Plantation, and while I am usually very skeptical of ghost stories, I have to admit that one of her photographs does seem to show a figure that is fairly creepy.

Spent the night at The Myrtles. It's smells old, feels old, and is extremely uncomfortable, but haunted? Most of the stories are works of fiction (no Chloe, no poisoned children) but if you go looking for something, you will see something, or think you do. If you think it's all balderdash, all you need worry about are the musty beds, noisy plumbing, and loud ghost hunters tromping around all night. In fact, the most noteworthy thing that happened during our stay was a cat giving birth to a litter of kittens in the crawl space under the house. I guess the cat wasn't too concerned with ghosts, either.

Andersonville Prison in GA. It's just has a really bad feeling walk through the gate or near the deathline. I was never so happy to leave a historical site in my life.

I watch all those ghost hunter/paranormal, etc., shows. Seems if ghosts, spirits and demons exist. They seem to be almost everywhere !!!! huh? [note to self : sleep with lights on tonight … again … !]

My wife and I do a "Winter Getaway" at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts every couple of years. It is really nice. They have one room with a ghost story, and we thought it was odd once when some folks were hanging around the door. They seemed to know about the room, and I asked how, and they said "Paranormal Investigations" (or similar). I did not know about the show, and thought they were saying they were Paranormal Investigators. We let them look around.

It is a really nice place. Lots of creaking, good food, but no ghosts.

When I was in 6th grade, we moved into a house in Middleburg, FL, which was supposed to have two ghosts. Once was a doctor who, on getting cancer, supposedly cut his own throat. Another was Mrs Snowden, who they say was killed by Seminoles with all her children. We only lived there a year. No ghosts, though we did have a couple of goats that ate up a lot of the heavy growth in the back. The house had had two (future? not sure of timing) presidents stay there. I think one was Andrew Jackson.

Never had any paranormal experiences at the Galvez whilst living in Galveston for 17 years.

A really creepy haunted mansion across the street from the governor's mansion in St. Paul, MN. Every book about hauntings in the Midwest talk about the place. It's still there as far as I know and occupied. Drive-by on some cold rainy nights and it really creeps you out.

Don't know about most of the places, but…

The NJ Pine Barrens? Best they could come up with for ghosts (or the Jersey Devil)? never saw a one, then again, never saw a one ever. Good historical sites and hiking, canoeing there, but no ghosts.

Been to Roswell, NM. Never saw an alien there (or anywhere). Enjoyed the museum and some lunch spot.

Antietam? Great battlefield to tour. No ghosts. Surprised they didn't include Gettysburg for PA -- I have a trio of booklets called Ghosts of Gettysburg about all sorts of supposed hauntings.

Well, you did get me to look… :)

I have seen a number of shows about the Ghosts of Gettysburg. Yes, there are many reports of the paranormal there.

Also saw a series about a small town near Antietam, Shepardstown, IIRC? The local LEOs had to call a ghost hunter group in. They were getting too many 911 calls about a Confederate soldier was standing in someone's living room, backyard, etc. Gulp ! huh? frown
