There was a dealer who use to come to the HMGS cons with all sorts of walls, that were made from vacuum plastic sheets. Does anyone know who this was or if still in business? Thanks in advance. |

I seem to recall the gentleman trading under a name something like "Precision Molding." I still have some of his sheets but none of them have a label on them. Do HMGS have historical lists of vendors? |

I'm desperately trying to remember John's last name. Hutt? Hutch? How soon we forget. :( He passed away many years ago. His manufacturing space was near Buffalo…Lewiston or something like that. I visited once and watched the process. They were 15-inch square sheets in a variety of patterns, including floors and walls. He did a lot of business with the model RR crowd. I don't know who, if anyone, took over his business. He was a one-man shop, so to speak. Originally a fireman in Canada, I recall. I did a quick Google search, but no luck. I did find a vacuum machine 48"x96" for $19,000 USD … :) |

I believe these people (address below) bought the molding gear. I have purchased their rivers and textured roofing sheets from them. By the way, I also visited John at his Lewiston, NY facilities some years back and he formed some sheets for me right there. He was a very nice fellow but already had some serious medical issues. Oh, and I believe his surname was Hutt. |

Thanks Bowman, it looks like they don't offer everything that Hutt's sold, but I contacted them and ask. |
