Just curious to see if there are any active Yahoo, Facebook, or other groups for 25mm/28mm WWII – Cold War gaming?

I'm interested in reading battle reports, seeing size comparisons of various manufacturers' ranges, discussing various rules, etc., etc., for skirmish-level (squad on squad) to platoon and company-sized battles.

I looked on Facebook, and nothing popped right out.

I'm interested in the old Battleground rules, Nuts, Tractics (yes, this ancient set just might get resurrected at home), as well as more modern rules sets.

I'm not interested in competition play, and creating optimal, fictitious orgs.

I'm looking to use historical units/TO&Es, and to do historical, or plausible, what-if gaming, from WWII to the end of the Cold War.

Would love to see people's pics, blogs, etc..

Any recommendations on sites to check out?

TooFatLardies has an active chain of command group. It's focused on Chain of Command of course, but there's a fair bit of discussion of historical WW2. Not sure about post WW2….

I'll second the TooFatLardies Yahoo Group, as well as their company forum. There's also always great discussion over on the Lead Adventure Forum.

There's also the Ambush Alley forums. Again focused on the rules, not on the scale.

You can also check the Spectre Minis guys.
