Is it necessary to have an announcement of every poll result on the main boards?

Why not?

So what battlefield is appropriate for Cheetos?

It was requested. If you don't like it, make a poll suggestion and we can all vote on it.

I quite like the announcements. Most make me smile though not necessarily for the right reasons.

Have fun.

At a Napoleonic Peninsula game in the 80's the food varied.

The French tray had fresh baguettes, camembert and pate` accompanied by bottle or two of Beaujolais.

The British were presented with a rough farmhouse loaf and some old cheddar that looked as if it had been left out too long. The "small beer" was supermarket cheap stuff. Sadly no rum ration was offered.

A good day with friends.

I once heard of a Napoleonic game in which the Russian players had to throw back a shot of vodka at the end of each turn. Must admit that sounds like a hoot!

I love serving period influenced food myself. (Within reason: might think about having something ahistorical during a Paleo Diet game!)

Pulled pork sandwiches or chili are appropriate for all historical eras. As is beer.

Not during a Donner Party game.

Does whiskey count?

Hey Gone Fishing, how long did that game last?

To Editor in Chief Bill….TOUCHE!!!!

That puts you one ahead in the poll.
