More pictures, information about Sir John and his regiment can be found here: link Seeing as his buffcoat is at the Royal Armouries, and one of his colours is on display at the National Army Museum, coupled with him being a Derbyshire man… well,they had to be painted!

Another fine body of men, even if they are dreadful rebels :-). Nice to have a regiment with some shreds of info available to us poor wargamers. |
