A lengthy question for a simple issue. In the rules, there is a table for "Knocking Out AFV". It gives die values to knock out various categories of aromour. The categories are listed in roman numerals, I to X.
The rules, however, are silent as to which AFVs fit which numerical category.

Anyone know where one can find a list of what AFV has what armour category for these rules?

In the 1950 to 1985 set, the list of vehicles in each class is on page 10.

The later set has the data in the back, but they have calsses up to XII.

Cheers

Yea, there's a chart for that. Not all are listed, but you should be able to work out comparative types from the examples.

Some other rules denote the Roman numeral system of armor classes for them too – usually the army lists for various types – tanks, IFVs, APCs, etc..

Don't forget to mind the reduced armor values for sides and rear, too.

Yes, there is a list of vehicle data by nation towards the rear of the book. Going to use the system for "Counter Attack at Mitte Pommers" 1964 game at PAW 2/3 Feb 19,
