Seems great, but one needs to have a high quality printer and the skills to use it.

Since I have neither, I will need to stick to scratch building with foam core….

You can use a low end printer for the buildings – I am printing out these buildings using an Ender 3 (under 200 US Dollars).

I have found that these buildings are far better than foam core, and I am dumping some of my old foam core terrain. However, it does take a while to print each building – assume 1 building a day for smaller buildings. And you will find you need to buy plastic filament regularly.

Might be worth getting a cheap printer for buildings, then!

My problem is that I want a printer than can make good 15mm minis, which is not a cheap Ender 3.

One thing I discovered when I got my printer is that printing is slow. I suddenly discovered why many people end up with multiple printers.

Glad you enjoyed them my friend!. (smile)
