It has been a couple of years, but Tango posted some pictures and a link to someone who had done the same thing, but in an outdoor urban setting(sidewalks, lamp poles, etc.).

Not exactly the ones I was remembering, but those are also great. The one that comes to mind was on a sidewald and a building foundation with a missing brick(?). In the opening was a miniature store front.

Anyway, thank you for posting that link.

I remember the mouse one. I did something similar with an empty unused plugsocket in my mother in laws house 30 odd years ago. She was on Holiday so I made a door with working hinges , a welcome mat and a small chair behind the door whilst she was away :-)
