really enjoying reading about your units progress, what game/mechanic do you use to generate the narrative? regards Steve |

In this case, I had an idea for an objective, which hasn't really been disclosed yet, and made up a series of tables needed to drive the mini-campaign along. I roll up terrain, number of encounters in a day, type of encounter, who is encountered, and the force size. Then write the story of the day, and encounter from the eyes of the primary character. To this point, the characters of each faction were all created prior to starting the campaign. Whenever I find that there is something that needs to be generated/randomized, I just create a table using a D10 with elements listed, that I can represent on the tabletop. |
