Hello peeps, as my first attempt at this was mauled by the bug, I'll have another go! As the title suggests, when did these troop types first rear their heads? Was it in Advanced Space Crusade? Or some metals before that? Cheers, John |

First metal ones where released in 89 about two years after 40k was released not sure when they first got rules though. link |

I believe there were rules for them in a white dwarf around the same time. |

I remember those SM Scouts from '89. I liked the one with the nicked Eldar Shiriken Catapult especially. The later plastic versions with the "poofy" sleeves were just "dumb" ! |

I think it was White Dwarf #159 that had the first 40K rules, the metal minis were out before that though. I think the rules might have been put out around the same time as Advanced Space Crusade which had the first appearance of plastic scouts. I always liked the 40K Rogue Trader scouts too… the shuriken catapult guy was too cool :) |
