Hi all

Well the upgrade of TMP server seems to have lost Novembers update.

December was a strange month as I got loads of figures prepped but very few finished. Also I got sucked into a new project (DOH!!!)

So the damage done =

Bought
1/2400 – 12 (Russian pre dreadnaughts)
28mm – 18 (Belgians and French)

Painted
1/2400 – 12 (Russian pre dreadnaughts)

Monthly profit = -18

Yearly Totals

Bought – 281
Painted – 396

YEARLY PROFIT = +115 (Yeah the lead mountain has reduced – sort of)

Plan for 2019

1) continue reducing the lead mountain

Happy New Year

MH
:-)

There's still a few hours left in 2018 here but the reality is that nothing will get finished.

Bought-- 0
Painted -- 0
YTD – +53
Bought – 105
Painted – 158

Not a bad year all in all.

Not a bad month ending an excellent year. Got quite a few painted but have some more that need mounted, so not as good as I hoped. Also had a busy month with Christmas activities and then a few days taken up when wife got pneumonia.
Painted= 245 (28mm Napoleonics)
bought(wife spent too much on me)= 320
so net of -75
Year summary
painted= 3542
bought= 1553
yearly profit= 1989 first gain in a couple years

Total Leadpile Reduction 2018 1155

GypsyComet01 Jan 2019 1:02 p.m. PST

November 2018 total:

Bought 12 (WFB/AoS and some Firestorm Armada)
Gifted 9 (Reaper Bones and a little GW)
Sold 20 (Genestealer cult stuff)
Painted 42 (Mostly WFB/AoS Nighthaunts, a few Ogors, and eleven Ion Age Retained in 15mm)

Year-to-date totals:
Growth 203 (net)
Painted 103

Which, barely, meets my annual goal of painting half of my collection growth.

DOUGKL01 Jan 2019 1:04 p.m. PST

Bought 0
Painted
8 ACW Generals
5 Numidian Lt Cav, unit finally done for my Carthaginian army
11 Spanish Scutari
9 foot knights
Total for the month +33
YTD 127+33= 160

The numbers aren't large, but that's 3 consecutive years where I've painted more than I've bought.

Grelber01 Jan 2019 2:16 p.m. PST

I bought 42 figures in December (18 from a Kickstarter I signed up for in September) and painted 17:
4 shieldmaidens
4 draugr
4 Viking thralls
5 Goblins completed last night while waiting for the ball to drop.
So, a negative total for the month.

For the year, I bought 181 figures, plus 9 horses, a cannon and 5 tanks, and painted 124 figures, 6 horses, a cannon, and a tank. So not good there, either. One Black Friday order I placed has not arrived, or it would be even worse.

However, I sold off 100 unpainted figures, so my total unpainted for the year has dropped by 43 figures! The lead mountain decreases, though with glacial slowness.

December was a good solid end to the year for me. Highly detailed High Elven cavalry demanded the lion's share of my painting time, so my numbers don't reflect how much effort I put into painting.

For the month:
Painted: 8 (Elven cavalry, djinn, mounted Death Dealer)
Bought: 2 (Secret Santa gift from Old School Minis FB group)

For the year, I saw a great improvement in my lead mountain, I'm down to double digits left to paint! I think 2019 will bring me to a strange land – of nothing left to paint!

Year profit: +95

2019 Goals:
Buy/print few. Paint many. Get the pile from 70 to 0.

Thank you to you all for helping to keep me motivated! May 2019 bring you lots of great games and hours to paint more than you buy!

Chuckaroobob02 Jan 2019 9:53 p.m. PST

Not much going on during December, but my yearly total is a growth of the lead mountain by 145.
Hopefully i will have more discipline in 2019.
I have painted on both days of the new year, so that's an improvement.

Syrinx031 Jan 2019 8:23 p.m. PST

Finished the year at my lowest total ever painted or purchased.

Purchased 68
Painted 21

Started a project of doing the 1929 Sino Soviet War. Have acquired 700 figures. Need to finish as of today 35 figures per week. Plan to host a game at Historicon. Will run my tallies at the end of each month.
