Yes they are brilliantly painted. If Archiduque says so then there must be something right here. He does seem to know his stuff.

Funny thing. No idea why, but this is one unit I love to see in campaign uniform. Blue overalls, black czapka covering, lapels turned back.

I simply love the Polish Lancers in Parade rig. 2e, I guess I never felt the red, yellow blue worked as well, with all the lace (however superbly shown here!) in parade outfit.

The grey horse dappling here is simply brilliant. So easy to create a rocking horse look.

Someone must tackle that trumpeter with Greenstuff and do a Trumpet Major in a Colpack . Mine was done two years ago. He is primed in black and there he sits looking at me….accusingly.
He is actually a fine piece of modelling (I say with all humility) but not a masterpiece of artwork (yet)
