This year's annual gathering of fellow Devon Wargames Group friends for our traditional Xmas game saw us basing our scenario around the gunfight at Cimmaron in 1889 and the battle that erupted as the townsfolk attempted to prevent County Records being removed to nearby Ingalls.

Great scenario! Having been "born and bred in the heart of the western wilderness," I can assure you the county seat issue was really a big deal back then, and memories of it sometimes live on to the present.
