Playing around with these configurations has helped me develop several mechanisms in rule sets. |

I would love to see the configuration when the pike are defending against mounted. In the formation shown the pikes are really doing nothing useful. Its great to see the formations 1 to 1. It brings out how long marching columns are. It may be interesting to do a couple of pics as the unit changes from say column to line. Its surprising how much space is needed. Whatever it was an interesting set of pictures. |

I have taken some time to photograph three companies one to one and side by side – that is pretty impressive to see. I also set up a cavalry troop of 50 in two lines on 1:1. I'll post those over the next week or so. |
