"We love the "Egg" and "Cute" series of models that has become more and more of a fad recently in modelling. These models give those who want something hassle-free to build, alternatively, they give the young and inexperienced modellers a chance to learn the skills of the trade. Thirdly they give those diorama experts a chance to create a whole tiny world. Meng's Panzer 38(t) is the subject of our build and pimping out guide today in the news…"

Go play World War Toon sometime, Mobius. pretty fun beer&pretzels&trash-talking. I'm just bummed that they don't include any of the infantry characters with the tanks. |

I bought some of those tanks and eggplants. Not sure what to do with em yet… |

Potential for an Orc tank I think. |

Actually too bad they are so big. Might be fun to play What a Tanker with them! |

Those all would make great Ork AFVs ! Too bad they don't make them in 6mm ! |

Too bad they don't make them in 6mm ! I'm not sure someone hasn't already tried that. I still have some of the old Skytrex 1/300 tanks and vehicles from the 1970s. While they aren't quite as "cute", they are certainly as "cartoonish". Not even on a dare. As my father used to say: It doesn't TAKE all kinds. There must ARE all kinds. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

@ZuluPaul and @L4: Yeah, I've seen several people online making Ork AFVs out of those. mostly the KV2 versions, if I remember correctly… |

Yeah, I've seen several people online making Ork AFVs out of those. mostly the KV2 versions, if I remember correctly… The similarity is clear ! |

As long as one was to keep ones tongue firmly in ones cheek – I could see a number of amusing uses for these. They'd look right at home with the Grubs WW2 worm infantry line or the Warpod robots from Flytrap Factory. Hmm…do I need another distraction project… |

I just don't understand why anyone would bother when the real things are so cool… |

It's like a British Mark VI light tank and a Polish TKS had an illegitimate child. |
Lion in the Stars | 01 Jan 2019 3:20 p.m. PST |
@Murvihill: It's from a computer game called World War Toon. It's very much in the spirit of Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny et al. Including dropping pianos on someone as arty/air support. So if your sensibilities are warped in that direction, it's pretty cool. (I really wish that they were making the infantry models) |

These toon tanks are not without their uses… TMP link |

These are great models for several reasons – sturdy, quick and easy to assemble, reasonably priced… I just wish they weren't so "superdeformed". If they made them just a little bit longer, they would work fine. |
