I am looking for information on a specific mission flown by the 301st Bomb Group. They carried out a raid on Bizerta on 28th November 1942 and lost two aircraft.

Can anyone tell me any more about the mission? Which aircraft were involved, any other Allied groups/squadrons, any records of Luftwaffe losses or claims for that day, that kind of thing?

Look here. 301bg.com

it has a list of missions and MACR

This file, a chronology of events, is off the wayback machine and probably has the other info you are looking for. PDF link
