Paddy Mayne is an interesting bloke. One of the early SAS officers and apparently a bit of a psycho. Enjoyed killing Germans just for the fun of it, by some accounts. I saw an interview with a guy who served with him who said that you always felt safe with Paddy beside you because he seemed invincible. Even when driving a Jeep at top speed straight at the enemy… |
