I've been looking for a cheap source for 15mm orc hordes, and I'm on a tight budget. I've noticed that Dark Alliance has released 1/72 Goblins. Dark Alliance makes good stuff, and it seems as if a 1/72 goblin (which would be smaller than a regular orc) would be about the right size for a large 15/18mm orc, right? Does anyone have these minis, and could tell me their size?

Listen, Dark Alliance Orcs don't look out of the place next to 18mm Splintered Light minis. I haven't seen the goblins in person, but I would feel comfortable mixing their 1/72 Orcs with metal 18mm.

Really? Thats facisnating; I used have some of their 1/72 orcs, and they were fantastic figures. What about their 1/72 half-orcs? Do you think they would match up ok with 18mm?

I don't have any of their half orcs. I will try to photograph some of the orcs next to the 15-18 mm metal miniatures I have. The thing is that we have my mother in law visiting and she took over my den. Some of my miniatures are in the boxes on a shelf now blocked by her
bed.
