"Problems with Warlord order" Topic

Anyone having trouble getting their Warlord orders?
I ordered some of their sale stuff (who can resist a sale) and received a confirmation on November 23.
I waited a couple of weeks for the 'sent' email. Nothing.
Checked on the website and it is 'unfulfilled'.
I emailed them Wednesday and still have not received a response, although it says they get back within 48 hours.
What are my options now? I want the stuff I ordered, but I just can't let my money hang out there…

Try their facebook page, they are pretty quick in responding to posts on it.

Was it something that needed to be cast up?

They do warn that delays can happen because of stock levels.

They are overwhelmed with their black friday sales. They are doing everything in the power to get it to you, promise. I too am waiting on a few things and it's the nature of the beast. This time of year, especially when ordering because of a sale, expect a delay.

No, it was all items in stock, mostly plastics.

They keep advertising to sell stuff. Maybe they should have ramped up their staff to meet expected demand. I don't appreciate being tempted to hurry up and buy stuff, then have to wait a long time for even a response. My order was not complicated and I feel neglected. (sniff, sob).

Unfortunately, in the point and click world that we live in, there is still no such thing as instant gratification from online purchases. They are a business. I've waited several weeks for product from well known companies before. It is the nature of the beast.

BUT, I do agree with you that they should have replied to you.

I appreciate your calming words.
But, I should be able to click on my Warlord favorite items and a little Nottinghammer grabs my stuff, rushes to Heathrow, boards the Warlord chartered LearJet, flies to Las Vegas, leaps out the plane on the motorcycle that is stored on it and dashes to my house. He says,"Ere's your order, mate". Shouldn't take more than a day or two…

I got my black friday sale stuff in less than a week (uk to usa).
No email confirmation.

Evening all.

Thanks for being so patient on this – we really appreciate you taking this in your collective stride. Although we prepared well in advance for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales we were caught out by just how popular they were – they exceeded even our wildest dreams. Nice problem to have though!

We have substantially increased our staff resource to get back on track and our various manufacturing and despatch teams are working shifts to get your your Warlord goodies as soon as we can.

Sadly the Canadian post issue is beyond our control but we have widely communicated this and offered courier options to get around the problem.

If anyone has issues with lack of confirmation of order or if they feel the order they placed is very late in arriving despite the delays we're experienced from the sale extravaganza please don't hesitate to contact our customer services tea at info@warlordgames.com and we'll look into things for you.

We're already making great in roads into the backlog and business as unusual should be resumed in short order…

However much I like to blame Canada for the ills of the world, I live about 1,257 miles / 2 023 km south of there.
Other people have said that they have already received their stuff. My fear is that my order:
A. Fell behind a filing cabinet.
B. Was left in the Loo.
C. Left on top of one of the Pyramids.
D. Sold to Iran.
E. Trump took it and won't say he did it.
F. Got tucked away in the X Files.
G. All of the above.

The Canadian thing was just one of the reasons for possible delays with your order, eh? ;)

I can't rule out Donald Trump although I'm sure he'll blame it on the Russians. Or North Korea. Or France. Or anyone not himself. Bless him.

I'm waiting for a package from overseas, too, so I sympathize with you. It is nice to be able to check with the sender. One hears of packages stolen from the porch or tossed in the bush in front of the house. You want to confirm the thing really was sent before putting up a video camera on your porch or ripping up the pfitzer in search of your package.
I've pretty much given up on ever getting the package I ordered from Houston right before the hurricane hit there.
By the way, you left off:
H. Kim Jong Il has it.
I. It was eaten by alligators in the sewers of Nottingham.
J. If you ordered Russians, it may have been seized as part of Mr. Mueller's investigation.

It hasn't even been sent yet. I had tried email and Facebook, but after posting here, Paul was kind enough to reach-out and contact me. He said he would get back Monday with an update. I can live with that. I understand sugar happens.

Okay, not sure why that is important since d8mm1940 has already got into contact with Warlord. I generally only use facebook to get info from authors self publishing on amazon and companies latest products.

Warlord also have put facebook messages about delays in shipping due to sales before, my £1.00 GBP a sprue sale order was delayed the same way due to the large numbers of orders.

Rejoice! I have been notified that my order has been 'fulfilled' and should ship today. The elves at Nottingham have been working under the whip and called in reinforcements to meet the onslaught. That all-too-common Christmas emotion, disappointment, has been replaced by anticipation. The vast and terrible international conspiracy that I was sure had overtaken my precious $60 USD order has been debunked.

I just am tired of people assuming everyone has a FB account. Company Websites, Yahoo Groups whatever, closing down and moving to FB. Really hard to order products when I can't get access.

Not really an assumption I made, any more than assuming someone has access to a phone, so they could phone the company. Its just a way to contact Warlord if email etc, hadn't already worked.

Its very easy to set up an account while giving Facebook no info or even your real name. I had a FB account with a different name for a while, only changed it when my immediate family decided to get accounts, even then I don't indulge FB by giving them other background details or by friending people.
