Annoying that I paid quite a lot for an early copy of this and it's now available free – but it is a great read.

This is an excellent reference and should be read by anyone interested in the War in the Spanish Peninsula.

An interesting exercise would be to compare how the French and British conducted their sieges in Portugal and Spain.
