Do I spot a Linothorax body on that sprue? For usage with the Galatae, I assume… nice :-)

I've been waiting for that Boudica chariot to be released.

The inclusion of the linothorax is excellent. Despite them appearing in most books on the Celts it was only recently I realised what they were.
There are lots of examples of Celtic warriors wearing armour like this from Celtic art such as the Glauberg warrior from the 5th century BC though the Celtic version has the flap at the back extend all the way to the waist and they appear to have been heavily decorated.

Looking forward to these and it's great to see how they did the reins. I wondered if they'd have them meet at the terret rings.

29.95 Pounds?

30 would be good value. You get three chariots with driver, three spare chariot drivers, three druids, three women, eight armoured warriors and enough bases for all your figures not in a chariot to stand on their own.

My two minor complaints are that there are no distinctly British shields to go with Boudica and I would like to have seen some different helmet crests and heads.

Also ever since it was pointed out that some of the ancient British warriors appeared to have styled their hair in large cornrows, I'd love to see a head showing this.

This is the back of a bronze head found near Cirencester. It was originally the pommel of an anthropomorphic sword.

Looks like good value to me. Floating bottom is really good- I'll be having some of them!
