These have been around for a long time actually. Casting Room is a subsidiary of Wargames Foundry. Kind'a inconvenient when ordering from them -- in that they are in the same facility (AFAIK), but they will not mix an order from WF w/ one from CR, nor package the two into one shipment… Still, I like both WF's Bronze Age lines, and CR's. I have quite a few of WF's Egyptian, Assyrian (yes, I know those are technically "Iron Age," but have done some minor mods' to use as Bronze Age), and Mycenaean/Trojan figures. Have bought some of these CR Amazons (the BA themed ones, not "Hoplite"), and in fact got the first of them back when Foundry was still selling them (that long ago!). And before you say it Tango -- Yes, I like them.  |
