Slings are one of my favorite weapons. Atlatl's are fairly rare, so this set scores on two fronts, for me. Unfortunately, they're too tall for my Goblin army, comprised of Caesar Goblins, which are more in line with EGG's 1977 1e AD&D Monster Manual sizes. I may press these figures into service as Orcs, however…
Thank you for sharing. These are really nice figures, and they wield weapons not often seen in fantasy mini's, but which are valid, and, IMO, desirable. The Atlatl is a fantastic tool, which dates back thousand's of years, which is perfect for Orcs, in a fantasy setting. The Atlatl increases range and power, of a thrown spear; it is also an inexpensive tool to greatly augment the Orc army. Excellent!
Thanks for the head's up on 2019 new releases! The Centaurs are particularly exciting. They are quite expensive in 28mm. From Redbox's Light and Dark Alliance, sets, this will take 1/72 fantasy into new realms. Their upcoming Cyclops sets will be well received by fantasy gamers, as well! Thanks, Paul! Cheers!
