Not do you drink while gaming (or at all).

Do you have alcoholic beverages in miniature on your tabletop?

I have …

A few individual figures drinking (mugs raised, that sort)
Crates and barrels for pirates and prohibition rum runners
A chemical plant that has an optional distillery sign
A couple alcohol billboards
A few inns, pubs, and bars

Yes to all of those.

I have a few SYW and medieval figs lifting a mug – and of course the Foundry Jolly Monks with their keg of beer!

My Dwarves always have some, some even have mugs as lethal weapons.

There is a Russian grenadier in one of my Napoleonic era army drinking from a flask, and it would be a good guess vodka is involved

Well, when the mines are finally exhausted employment opportunities for the little fellas are limited, so… 'hi ho, hi ho, it's off to mug we go…'

Scratchbuilt drinking accessories:

A super spy with a martini glass (carved from a bit of styrene).

A roman sentry with a wine goblet standing guard duty at the vineyard DBA camp (carved down from a spear shaft in hand).

I have the very nice beer wagon from Thingsfromthebasement and a Whiskey wagon from Hinchliffe.

Eureka makes a "not Flashman" with a brandy snifter. Of course I have one!

I have a unit of cossaks. I dip them into the cheapest bottle of Chateau Thames Embankment I can find so that they smell right on the table. :-)

If we game on Fridays, my son in law and I will generally share a wine bottle of a strong beer before dinner.

MiniMo
Go to Michaels (or online) and get the Darice Timeless Minis package of 6 winebottles #2306-15. No crate but you could use the milk crate 2306-31 and paint it brown.

Yes

I went to Hobby Lobby and asked for some barrel shaped beads.
They didn't have any, but they did have barrel shaped barrels! grin
Cut on a lathe with rings and everything. Cheap too.
In that scale that can be anything, but those are the same barrels that Thingsfromthebasement uses with their laser cut beer wagon.

I drill a hole in one end, and shove a toothpick in. Dip in the usual Dip, and flip over and jam the toothpick into a piece of scrap styrofoam.
Do I need to tell you to wear gloves? I hope not. grin

I know that's probably a joke, but it's also a brilliant idea.

I have a few. A wheelbarrow with Bugman's beer for my dwarves & a couple of fantasy guys drinking from a bottle.

A few barmaids with mugs and a fair number of hogs heads containing beer, wine, or gunpowder depending on the scenario.

Pauls Bods: EXCELLENT vignettes! thumbs up

So, would anyone be interested in purchasing a figure tossing their proverbial "cookies" as a result of the "fun" for their vignette?

Actually, I have been wanting to convert a few such figures as status markers for various types of non-lethal incapacitating agent effects … Brings back nostalgic memories of tear gas training events. Ah, the good old days! ;)

"Shanks" Evans, a Rebel Brigadier, had a German aide to carry his "barrelito" of high test refreshment. That would be a great command stand, and an increasing drunk check as the game wares on.

von Schwartz02 Dec 2018 3:46 p.m. PST

I don't have alcoholic beverages in miniature, I prefer them full size!

Bowman07 Dec 2018 6:34 a.m. PST

Pauls Bods: EXCELLENT vignettes!

Agreed. I fact I wonder if Paul plays in any wargames with his miniature revelers having so much fun.
