A proposal was made – TMP link – to prohibit auctions from being promoted on the TMP Marketplace. 48% voted against 37% voted in favor |

I don't mind the auctions being promoted, but you used to require people to post everything they had for sale in one Marketplace post, and I believe people selling commercially were not allowed to post in the Marketplace. I wish you'd go back to those rules, personally. |

While I rarely participate in auctions, I can't understand why they should be prohibited. Tom |

Ditto Sundance. The average seller posts one item and it soon disappears to the bottom as retailers post multiple listings. Surely they should pay for advertising and link to their web stores. |

+1 Sundance and Leadjunky. I rarely check the Marketplace anymore, because the the volume of individual commercial dealer posts is so high. I'd be more likely to look at them if they had multiple items from the same period in a post. Absent a great search engine for the Marketplace, a la Ebay, it's too hard to find the items I'm interested in quickly. So I go to Ebay. |

What I thought I was voting for was TMP members posting what they have on eBay. I wasn't voting for commercial dealers on EBay or anywhere else. I bet I am not the only one. Although I am not sure I would be against that. Probably should be the subject of another poll. For me that is a whole other category. |
