It's amazing that every Squad Level game of 28mm seems to have the Germans entire production run of Tigers show up? If I want an exorbitantly priced 28mm Tiger that's pre painted I'll just go on eBay and buy one from Corgi. Who needs a kickstarter??? Cheers! |

I wouldn't have said it was that expensive. The Rubicon Tiger is £23.00 GBP so a readymade, painted one for £30.00 GBP seems a very reasonable price. As for the Corgi Tiger they go for silly money on EBay these days. Oh and you must have a very big table to get 1,500 Tigers on it! :-) |

Personally I feel they would have been better going with more common vehicles first (and that folk might want more than one of). To go with the Tiger, King Tiger and Elephant as per the owners video kills any interest from me in 28mm. Also I note the expected delivery date is June 2019……. |

I don't think the Tiger is a bad choice for one of the first vehicles, but they should have had a few more ready to go preferably a Sherman and a T34. |

How is that a kickstarter? Its just a service. |

It's not expensive, in fact its ludicrously cheap. To the extent I'm struggling to see how they can be making a profit. |

It is cheap. Dragon 1/72 pre-paints were, and are, around the £25.00 GBP mark, depending upon the source. It's not a bad camouflage pattern either. I can understand the decision to go for German armour first, it sells, but I think I would have put a Pz IVH up as my second issue. Give it a camouflage pattern that the average wargamer wouldn't find easy to reproduce themselves. |
