At Maneouver Group we pride ourselves on accuracy. Imagine my horror while on holiday in Australia when I realised we have no terrain definition for mangrove swamps. Do we need time of day, tide state, tidal height, type of mangrove swamp (how many types are there)? Does taking your shoes off to walk along the tourist walkway that is flooded take one action or two? Does holding the shoes of a non combatant count a being encumbered while walking along such a walkway? Being a war gamer is hell, only tempered by medicinal alcohol, often taken with coffee and not before 16:00 hr local. |

I'd say they're pretty much impassable, unless flooded and you have a boat. "Does holding the shoes of a non combatant count a being encumbered while walking along such a walkway?". Only if they have very, very large feet and shoes/boots. |

Depends if there are crocodiles or sharks. JohnG |

The Seminoles managed to navigate mangrove swamps without boats, in spite of crocodiles and sharks.
(Admittedly, the American crocodile is much less aggressive than other species, but there are also alligators to worry about.) Rick |

Do the crocs/sharks have laser beams on their heads? |

Nope. Osceola couldn't afford them. But he was able to get some Sea Bass with chainsaws…. |

Usually there are both, and now, in SE FL, pythons too. |
