Anyone know which APC the Berlin Brigade had in 1965?

the 2 main contenders were the fv432 and the saracen, being a new vehicle it may have been the 432, but the saracen is better on roads.

Yes, the US used M113s.

I was going to say which army. E.g. I know we saw French from Berlin in the late '80s in VABs … grin

Might be a few leftover, older model APCs back then too.

Apparently, some units kept theirs well into the 1970s, and they weren't listed on the "official" TO&Es.

You mean like the old M59 APC link ? I'm not so sure about that … but maybe ?

M113 was cheap enough that you could afford to lose it (primary assumption for all Berlin Brigades)

Yeah I commanded an M113 Mech Co., '87-'89. They wouldn't give me any real expensive toys to play with ! laugh evil grin wink
