the 2 main contenders were the fv432 and the saracen, being a new vehicle it may have been the 432, but the saracen is better on roads. |

Yes, the US used M113s. I was going to say which army. E.g. I know we saw French from Berlin in the late '80s in VABs … |

Might be a few leftover, older model APCs back then too. Apparently, some units kept theirs well into the 1970s, and they weren't listed on the "official" TO&Es. |

M113 was cheap enough that you could afford to lose it (primary assumption for all Berlin Brigades) |
