You were asked – TMP link – if you agreed with the statement: Playing with two-dimensional paper 'stand up' figures or elements is not miniature wargaming because they ignore the modeling half. It's gaming alright, but not miniature wargaming. 63% said "I disagree" 31% said "I agree" |

I disagree with the statement. No reason flats, be they paper or zinfiguren, should not be considered miniatures. |

Metal, plastic, paper Just another medium. I furnish both sides in my games so I don't have to worry about who shows up with what kinds of figures. But for tournaments they would be good for an all paper or all flat figure tournament. If I was running a Bolt Action tournament for example. I would not allowed paper or flats. Just painted figures only. |

In the past I have played with screws and paper flats. I now play with card fold flat buildings. Not sure a mix of styles is ideal but otherwise Who Cares about wasting time painting instead of playing! Absolutely part of the hobby. I have seriously considered lazer cut 12mm flats to replace my infantry, much be better than oversize cast figures. |
