Apart from several Greek gods and goddesses, RBJ also offers sets like these 28 mm Amazons hoplites. The shield is a bit small for a hoplon but it's fantasy.

I got those through a kickstarter, they are very nice, no flash & good sculpts. I highly recommend them.

The snakes on the shields are not New World snakes, like rattlesnakes. Yes, I was unhappy with the old Ral Partha Amazons, which had New World black widow spiders on their shields (I was also unhappy about other things with those Amazons). These could use a tunic under their pteruges, but aren't at all bad. Grelber |
