That's amazing.

I got three used Skyrays at a flea market years ago and haven't really been inspired to repair and repaint them. This is pretty inspiring.

Don't get me wrong, it's a "professional" paint job most of us can't emulate, but I'm just not a fan of the artificial lighting glowy neon paint technique. And the dark green honeycomb matrix makes it look kinda Necron-ish.

Yeah I agree. There are a lot of talented professional painters out there with some mad air brush skills that I could never aluminate….but I find the modern move to paint 40k models with airbrushed zenithal highlighting, crazy amounts of OSL and NMM all a bit un-40k. It works well for cyber punk/anime style miniatures (which Tau kind of are) but doesn't fit the dark dystopian 40k image I have I my mind. John Blanche style painting while no where near as polished suits the 40k aesthetic far better in my opinion ( not that I can paint that style with any skill either).
