"When you hear about cool and futuristic guns your first thoughts are probably about science fiction movies where these guns couldn't possibly exist. Well, you'd be surprised to know that some of these futuristic weapons do in fact exist. While gun control is a hotly debated argument in the United States, a vast majority of the weapons featured here are for military use only. The ZiP pistol is remarkable only for being a useless piece of garbage. |

I thought the company making the ZiPs went out of business, since you need to put your hand in front of the barrel to load the thing. Also, the Five-seveN isn't that hot a pistol. Ammo is about on par with .22 WMR, a rimfire, 40grain bullet at 2200fps out of the P90 and about 1600fps out of the pistol. Stupid thing is also obnoxiously big, about the same physical size as a Desert Eagle .50, so it doesn't fit into any standard-sized holsters. The Armatix still doesn't prevent unauthorized users from firing it in a scuffle. After all, as soon as someone takes the gun away from you you're going to be reaching for it. |
