So, I'm going to route of Litko magnetic bases for my 10mm WW2 infantry, but I'm wondering where I can order a good baking pan (with a handle) that the magnetic based figures would adhere too.

Any good Amazon purchases out there? I've seen a few but I can't tell if they are metal or the right kind of metal that would take these magnetic bases.

I use the ones with the semi-clear plastics libs so I can see what is inside.

I do want something with a clear lid and also a handle, but I'm not sure which ones will be metal that will allow magnetic bases to adhere too. I've read some will not.

I guess I could go from store to store locally with one of my infantry stands :)

A steel baking pan with a clear lid and a handle? Never heard of such a thing.

Get a plastic box at Target etc. and line it with self adhesive paper steel or sheet magnet (magnets also stick to magnet!)

Cheaper here: link You do not need the expense of copper. But, these pans are 2 inches deep and with the cover 4 inches (102mm) in height (I just measured mine). That's a lot of wasted space for 10mm high figures. Also it is NOT made to stack, the cover handle does not fold flat.l

I have dozens of cake pans I use for miniature storage and transport. I bought the vast majority from Walmart or the Post Exchange over the years – cheap and effective. Pans with a handle are more expensive and I can't image I'd ever carry a pan filled with figures by the handle, so I have very few of these. As Walking Sailor mentions, pans come in different depths, so look for the depth you want.

Thanks Walking Sailor and mckrok

Looks like a non-handle pan would work and maybe something that will stack. I'll hardly ever transport these anywhere as this is pretty much for solo gaming at home. I just need a nice and compact space to store my 10mm stuff

If transport is not an issue, cardboard boxes with liner are cheap, stackable, replaceable.

Have you considered deep-dish cookie sheets?

For example, these look promising, and the price is about right (w/ lid even!) :

{Edit: ok, so that model is aluminum & therefore non-magnetic:
Still, I would think a steel version is around somewhere…
the Key Word appears to be " Sheet Pan " or perhaps 'Half-size sheet pan')

Has anyone ever gotten a lightweight, magnetic metal sheet cut to order to line the bottom of a steralite plastic container?
